The importance of every life

   With the tragedy that is going on in Kenya, we have been stirred up in prayer and in the importance of our lives for the short time we are here on this earth. Our hearts and prayers go out to our brothers and sisters in Kenya, as many of them gave their lives for their faith. We continue to pray for those still in captivity.

    Just as Christ would walk for 70 miles just to give one woman the gospel in John 4, God brings individuals into our lives. Today we had one Muslim young man visit our church after we had an hour long conversation with him at evangelism. God has been so faithful to encourage us, especially this month.

First we have had Julie’s mom, Sylvie, with us for the past 2 months. She has been a complete angel, being a team member and helping in the church and evangelism.

 Next, Pr. Renaldo Brown and Pr. Nelson Nhkoma visited us from Zambia doing the opening of our 2^nd Semester in Bible College. We are overwhelmed at the response of people and people’s hunger to listen to the Bible. We registered 75 people for our new semester – the room is packed.

There was also our Southern African Leadership Conference, which took place in Kitwe, Northern Zambia, with Pr. Adam Speedy. It was an amazing time of fellowship in the Word with Pr. Scibelli who came from Baltimore as the guest speaker. We brought 3 Leaders from Malawi along with Pr. Albert and our Family on a 12 hour long African road trip – Quite an Adventure! Pr. Adam and the Kitwe church did an amazing job hosting the event and even had our whole family at his house – 5 kids all under one roof! Also we had a day of Ice Cream Con, where Pr. Scibelli treated all the kids to as much ice cream as they could stomach ( much to the delight of their parents).

Lastly, we had the great privilege of bringing Pr. Scibelli across the border of the newest African country to be stamped in his huge passport (it’s the size of a Gideon’s New Testament). After the 17 hour trip back to Malawi from North of Zambia, he finally crossed into “The Warm Heart of Africa”. He was welcomed with 4 full days of preaching, raps, Bible college classes, and a Church Service of our 1^st Annual “Mcon”. The encouraging messages and the church’s hunger for doctrine was a perfect recipe for an anointed time. The church and Bible College were greatly touched.

You may know or not that it is NOT recommended to eat food on the side of the road in Africa - OR it is "at your own risk" LOL! BUT since we discovered Malawian Chips we cannot help it and we HAVE to have it once a week after Saturday Outreach! 

We LOVE visitors! Kevin was here in Malawi for his Job. Kevin is from the Church in Baltimore!
