Greetings from Malawi: as things begin to thaw in the Northern Hemisphere, they are beginning to get cooler here. We are in the tail end of our rainy season and God has really given us showers of blessings this month. As many of you know we have been praying for over a year for a new place for our church. The place we were in was crowded, loud, and distractive. We wanted to stay in the area we are currently in because it is central in the city and easy to get to for anyone. We followed many leads, visited many places, even considered trying to buy land. We were desperate. Ultimately, someone in the neighborhood overheard that we needed a new place; and she knew of a man building a hall that we could look at. As it turned out, he was just finishing it and he is also a Christian. We proposed renting it and initially he gave us a price far outside of our budget. We were just honest with him and told him what the threshold of our budget was. He agreed to lower the rent to what we could afford. March 11^th was our first day in the new building. We are pinching ourselves that we are the only church on this property. There is no competition, no loud noises of other churches surrounding us. It is perfect for Bible college. Thank you for your prayers!
As we prepare for the trip to Zambia, we are blessed with having some visitors before the conference. Craig Awad from the Philippines, who has lived in South Africa and has been involved in missions in Southern Africa for the last 15 years, is visiting us. Also Pr. Bernard Ntalasha, the pastor from the church in Livingstone, Zambia will be arriving tomorrow for one week. The Bible college students are elated to have our guests. The team is amazing, such a help, such a blessing. Also we did our first Baby Dedication with 6 families dedicating their children.

Prayer Requests:

• Church members to raise money necessary for travel to Zambia
• Planning of the Zambia conference
• Bible school students to finish the semester well
• Traveling mercies for our visitors trips home
• One particular family in the church who has been tested with so many trials and they need God’s relief. It has been one health or financial issue after the other.

Greetings Everyone!

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. We had a huge turnout for our 2015 Bible College Semester.
 120 students registered! We are bursting at the seems...people hanging out of windows and sitting outside. It also seems that we are close to moving into a new place. 

After looking at a number of places and some falling through. It seems that we have two serious choices. We are asking God for wisdom and His choice that will benifit the church. Church life has also been amazing. We have seen 3 different marriages brought back together. It is so encouraging. We also took on our first orphan as a church. Matthews, who is a teenager, was living with the government group we are doing Christian Education and Youth Ministry with. For whatever reason, they refused to allow him to live in the dormitory and he was forced on to the streets. With prayerful consideration, we placed him in a home of one of our church members and Bible school students. Like being in a dorm, Matthews comes to Bible college and church services and is continuing his highschool education.
We ask you would keep praying for us...your prayers are powerful. We are believing God to bring 15-20 of us to the Zambian conference. We have been announcing the trip for a year, but the $80 roundtrip ticket is still outside many people's budget. We are believing God for a miracle.

'Mom's Best School' Field Trip

 "Whoever then humbles himself like this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven."

Yesterday was field trip day at "Mom best School" (the girls name for our home School) :) We took the girls to visit one of our church member's Christian School. As it always is a great adventure to visit people here, we got in the car and drove for about 40 minutes through a few compounds, dirt/mud roads and pot holes. We finally made it to the big house that Peter rents and uses its entirety for the school from Nursery to 4th grade.     
The whole school, about 120 children, was waiting for us outside as we drove through the gate of the school and surrounded our car, blocking any possibility for us to even get out. You should have seen it, the smiles, the excitement as we, 'Azungus' (white people), came to visit them! They started singing for us and finally let us make our way out of the car! Our girls, even though they are used to it, were still very much intimidated with all the attention! It was really awesome and so exiting to see all these expectant faces! 

Anyway after we said our hellos they brought us inside into their main hall and presented us with a great talent show. Chris did a story on the sketch board and the girls and I taught them a song together! You might imagine a school with desk and chairs, right? of course thats what you should find in any school, well this school is in a poor area and even though its a private school most of the classes are done on the ground, on mats and a small chock board standing on 3 legs, very much like a sketch board. With almost nothing they get to teach these children about reading and Maths, and the Love of God! In all we had such a great visit and gave us a vision to start our own GG school very soon!
